I miss her so much because we are hours apart. She doesn't know it yet but she is #5 in our five living generations. She has a Nana, a Mimi, a Memaw, and her Daddy...all one one side of the family, still living. Her Nana is 87 years old and in love with this bright eyed bundle of Joy! Focusing on a project takes my mind off of other things and is a stress reliever for me. I have about 7 scrapbooks so far, three of them busting at the seams. I am starting a scrapbooking crop at church as a way for the ladies to get to know each other and have some time to get out of the house, relax and share with each other.<br /><br />I love church and worshiping the Lord. Praise and worship is my favorite and I do like some southern gospel music as well.<br /><br />I am on a "diet" at the moment, using the diabetic guidelines to lose some weight and become more healthy. I have a pacemaker, or a spark-plug as one of our friends call it, because my heart didn't beat fast enough. I am looking for recipes that are low in carbs and sugar so I don't grow tired of the same old thing every day.<br /><br />I read Christian fiction books, especially suspense novels. Dee Henderson, Karen Kingsbury, and Kathy Herman are some of my favorite authors,just to name a few.<br /><br />I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful grandbaby and a very special family. Our poodle doesn't know she is a dog, she is so smart and she loves me unconditionally.<br /><br />Things aren't perfect in my life but God is good.
